Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has chosen Frankfurt-based Konstantin Mettenheimer as its new German senior partner to lead the Anglo-German giant alongside Anthony Salz.
Mettenheimer, a tax and corporate partner, has been approved as the firm’s co-head after two other candidates, the Duesseldorf-based partners Axel Epe and Ralph Wollburg, withdrew from the race.
