One of Belgium’s major bars has pushed through new ethical rules that threaten to seriously restrict lawyers’ contact with the media.
The Flemish Bar of Belgium, one of the two main bars in the country representing Dutch and Flemish-speaking lawyers, has this July introduced new sanctions for lawyers who speak to the media.
