Private equity giant 3i has overhauled its in-house legal department in a move that is expected to result in a review of its advisers.
In-house lawyer David Dench has taken the newly-created role of director of legal services, assuming sole responsibility for the private equity house’s 17-lawyer legal department. The team was previously split into investment and transactions teams.
