White & Case signs off £3.6bn US-Dutch UPC restructuring deal

White & Case has signed off a landmark US-Dutch restructuring after advising on the E5.2bn (£3.6bn) re-capitalisation of United Pan-European Communications (UPC).

The deal saw UPC emerge from an almost year-long restructuring programme involving filing for a debt moratorium in The Netherlands and a Chapter 11 procedure in the US.
