Many UK businesses appear unaware of the impending implementation of new asbestos regulations, the Legal Director/Davies Arnold Cooper (DAC) Benchmarker has revealed.
Three in four (75%) of the 100 heads of legal and company secretaries surveyed admitted that they were unaware of any steps taken by their companies to check for and identify the presence of asbestos in their commercial premises as required by the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002.
