Two of the UK’s largest law firms are gearing up to outsource support services to India in a landmark move for the profession.
The decision follows separate pilot schemes earlier this year by London giant Allen & Overy (A&O) and national firm Hammonds. Rivals are closely watching the projects at a time when UK firms are pushing for cost-savings to counter the current slump in commercial activity.
