Europe’s in-house lawyers look set to gain key privilege rights in an upcoming vote later this month in the European Parliament.
The Parliament is scheduled to vote on 22 September on proposals to extend rights of professional privilege for in-house lawyers’ advice as part of amendments to the European Commission’s (EC’s) merger notification process.
