A group of high-profile partners have united to launch a think-tank representing the interests of the growing number of lawyers practising with the London arms of US law firms.
The group, dubbed The 51, initially consists of nine UK-qualified partners from US firms across London, including Euan Gorrie at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Mike Francies at Weil Gotshal & Manges and Tim Emmerson at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy.
