Luther Menold has advised the purchasers of E.ON’s e835m (£578m) stake in Gelsenwasser, as the German utility giant offloads subsidiaries following this year’s purchase of Ruhrgas.
The deal saw E.ON sell its 80.5% stake in Gelsenwasser, the largest privately-owned gas company in Germany, to a joint venture formed by rivals Dortmund Stadtwerke and Bochum Stadtwerke, advised by Luther Menold.
