The Diary was heartened to hear that the City’s legal community will next month become ‘luvvies’, with the staging of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew in the Gardens at Middle Temple.

Produced by Stopgap Productions – a production team comprising solicitors and barristers from the City of London – all proceeds will go to three charities linked to pro bono initiatives: the Solicitors’ Pro Bono Group; the Paddington Law Centre and Richard House – a children’s hospice in East London.
