The Government has named Prudential chairman David Clementi as the senior industry figure charged with leading the flagship review of legal services regulation.
Clementi, who originally trained as an accountant, is one of the City’s most senior figures having spent 22 years at Kleinwort Benson before joining the Bank of England as a deputy governor.
