The Law Society’s media profile has improved by more than 1,000% according to an internal survey which concludes that the long battle to improve Chancery Lane’s public standing is finally bearing fruit.

Apparently shrugging off endless headlines chronicling its battle with former vice president Kamlesh Bahl and regular sniping over its governance and regulatory prowess, the survey found that in 2002 23% of press coverage portrayed the Law Society in a positive light.
