KirchLeading Munich firm Noerr Stiefenhofer Lutz, has been left with more than $2m of unpaid bills, following the collapse of key client KirchMedia, it has emerged.

The firm, one of Germany’s best known independent practices, is seeking to regain $2.1m in unpaid legal fees from its former trophy client.
The unpaid fees relate to work done in 2002 by the firm for the fallen German media giant Kirch Group, which is believed to have accounted for 5%-10% of Noerr’s turnover during the 1990s.
