E&Y secures backing for 'close links' strategy

Ernst & Young (E&Y) has secured the backing of more than 20 of its tied law firms for its ‘close links’ strategy, giving the accountancy giant the support of more than 1,900 lawyers.

The move follows the June challenge by Ernst & Young Law Alliance (EY Law) head Patrick Bignon to member firms to either stand behind proposals for closer integration or quit the network.
