Barry OFreshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has overhauled its much-vaunted corporate finance team under the first shake-up of its practice heads since the merger with German giant Bruckhaus Westrick Heller Loeber three years ago.

The shake-up, which will be recommended to the partnership today (10 July), will see UK-based global corporate head Barry O’Brien take the less senior role of head of corporate finance, with his old role strongly tipped to go to London partner Gavin Darlington.
