That’s right, before flicking through the seemingly innocent booklet, which contains details of the members of the Law Society’s council, readers are warned that the views expressed in the mini-biographies “do not necessarily represent the views of the Law Society”. The ‘note’ adds: “Nor do they constitute factual assertions with which the Law Society would necessarily agree.”
