Harbottle & Lewis has become the latest firm to convert to a limited liability partnership (LLP). The firm’s 18-strong partnership agreed on the proposal last month and will become an LLP on 1 August. Managing partner Samantha Phillips commented: “Rather than taking the ‘wait and see’ approach, which more conservative firms have taken, we have decided to convert now.” Other UK firms to have made the change are Wragge & Co, Eversheds and Kemp Little.
