City leaders Linklaters and Slaughter and May have acted opposite each other on a £1.1bn deal that sees long-standing Slaughters client Chubb bought out by multi-billion dollar US corporation United Technologies (UTC).
UTC acquired the UK-based fire alarm and security services group for the cash sum in a deal announced on 11 June.
