Munich lawyers are braced for fresh competition following news that two major international firms are preparing to launch practices in the key technology and IP centre.
Legal Week has learned that top 10 US firm Weil Gotshal & Manges has committed itself to launching a second German office, with the Bavarian capital regarded as the most likely target, while London technology leader Bird & Bird is currently hunting for senior lawyers to launch a local office.
