Troubled Minnesota firm Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly is negotiating the sale of its trio of European offices in a bid to cut costs.

The decision to transfer the firm’s Brussels, Paris and Geneva branches, which between them employ 25 lawyers, follows the announcement earlier this month that Oppenheimers is to close its domestic offices in New York, Palo Alto and Orange County. The bulk of Oppenheimers’ 35-lawyer Palo Alto arm is being taken over by Dechert.
