DLA has boosted its Asian network with the acquisition of the foreign law practice of Singapore firm J Koh & Co, giving the top 10 UK firm a foothold in Thailand for the first time.
The two firms already have a strategic alliance through the DLA Group and share office space. However, a group of J Koh’s Singapore lawyers, focusing on foreign law instructions, together with the firm’s Bangkok office, will now join DLA. The local Singapore practice will remain an associated member of the DLA Group, which comprises the UK firm’s formal international allies.
