Supreme Court working party report promises to open West Coast legal markets

California’s Supreme Court is set to scrap a host of restrictions on out of state lawyers practising locally in a move that promises to open up one of the US’ key legal markets.
The reforms, which would sweep aside many of the current restrictions on out of state lawyers practising in the state, are contained in a report published last month by a court working party.
