Courtroom 21, the prototype cyber-court at William and Mary College of Law in the US, was recently host to a joint conference on cyber crime. The conference was based on a mock trial before US District Court Judge Susan Bucklew from Florida and concerned the prosecution of a ‘hacking’ attack on a commercial company.

The defendant, a disaffected ex-employee, was charged with blackmail and causing damage to the complainant company’s main servers.
