Slaughter and May has advised Old Mutual on the issue of $750m (£454m) of perpetual debt by its subsidiary Old Mutual Capital Funding (Jersey).
Slaughters corporate partner Craig Cleaver advised Old Mutual and Old Mutual Capital Funding on the issue of the guaranteed cumulative perpetual preferred securities – a perpetual debt method commonly used for raising tier 1 capital – and its listing to the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
