Silicon ValleyLeading Midwest firm Oppenheimer Woolf & Donnelly is to close all of its US offices outside of its Minneapolis base – just days after the loss of its Silicon Valley branch to a US rival.

The decision, announced on 3 June, will see the firm close its New York and Orange County offices and comes only days after US rival Dechert announced that it was to take over the bulk of Oppenheimers’ 35-lawyer Palo Alto arm. It is unclear what will happen to the 50 lawyers based in the other two offices.
