SJ Berwin has advised a pair of private equity houses – Bridgepoint Capital and Permira – on their £250m acquisition of leading UK health and fitness group Holmes Place.
The firm has a long history of advising both investment houses on fund formation, and has previously advised Bridgepoint on acquisitions and investments – but this is the first time SJ Berwin has advised Permira on an acquisition.
