Leading Mid-West firm Oppenheimer Woolf & Donnelly is to officially close all of its US offices outside of its Minneapolis base – just days after the loss of its Silicon Valley branch to a US rival.

The decision, which was announced on Monday (3 June), will see the firm close its New York and Orange County offices and comes only the week after US rival Dechert announced that it was to take over the bulk of Oppenheimers’ 35-lawyer Palo Alto arm.
