The legal departments of six local authorities, a national corporation and a non-profit sector organisation have agreed to work collaboratively on technology issues.
The group – which consists of Manchester, Gateshead, Wakefield, East Staffordshire, Middlesbrough and Calderdale councils; British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL) and the Commission for Racial Equality – was formed by IT supplier Axxia Systems from its own client base to promote the idea of a collaborative approach to case management and case know-how.
