Sidley Austin Brown & Wood and Gide Loyrette Nouel have vowed to maintain their long-standing relationship as the French leader gears up to launch its London office following its surprise four-partner raid on the Chicago-based firm.
As exclusively revealed on www.legalweekglobal.net yesterday (2 June), Sidleys is to lose four legacy London Brown & Wood partners; UK-qualified corporate and structured finance partner Michael Doran and securities and structured finance partner Colin Mercer, plus US-qualified corporate/securities partners Scott Cameron and Christopher Mead.
