Linklaters’ Hong Kong head of IP has left after six years at the firm to create her own practice after the magic circle firm asked her to send local stand-alone IP work to external lawyers.

Rebecca Lo, who joined Link-laters as a partner in 1997 after 12 years with Hong Kong firm Hastings & Co, launched Rebecca Lo & Co on 1 May after the UK leader moved to send out all of its local stand-alone IP work.
