Germany will see the creation of its first dedicated commercial law course this summer, in a major step to bring the country’s antiquated legal education regime into line with modern practice.
The reforms, which are being designed and overseen by the German Federal Bar, will see the launch of a new supplemental course for trainee lawyers that will focus on business law issues.
