Linklaters’ re-elected managing partner Tony Angel has pledged that the City giant will make serious headway in the competitive US legal market in his second term.
Speaking as the magic circle firm confirmed his reappointment on Tuesday (6 May), Angel told Legal Week that building a heavyweight US presence would be the firm’s top priority in the coming years – despite its failure so far to secure a New York merger.
