On endeavouring to leave a message for new PR head Anne Groves, our scribe was told that, despite joining the firm more than three weeks earlier, the spin-meister had no voicemail facility on her phone.

When asked why this was the case, the CC receptionist confirmed that Groves had not yet undergone ‘voicemail training’ and would not be allowed to have her own personal telephone greeting until this had been successfully completed.
