Royal Dutch Shell Group has hired ABB’s Beat Hess as its new global general counsel to replace retiring head Pieter Folmer.
Hess, who was previously ABB’s general counsel and group secretary, will take responsibility for the group-wide global legal function from 16 June. He succeeds Folmer who announced that he was retiring in December.
