Paris-based partner Jacques Wantz is walking out of the New York firm to join a corporate and litigation boutique. Wantz, one of Shearmans’ top French-qualified corporate partners, will form a new firm called BCW & Partners in May. The new firm will be formed by merging his practice into that of a two-partner Paris boutique run by Luc Castagnet and Laurent Bernet.
