New compliance system for firm prompted by changes to money laundering regulations

US/UK firm Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw is set to roll-out an IT-based compliance system from Semagix in its London office to comply with new money laundering regulations.
The move to install Semagix’s Ciras system was prompted by amendments to the Proceeds of Crime Act VII, which is forcing firms’ compliance officers to implement new processes and technologies across the UK.
