Neil GerrardThe Commerce & Industry (C&I) Group has announced it is to expand its membership to include anyone working in an in-house legal capacity as part of a major shake-up of the group’s structure.

The membership of the group, the UK’s main representative body for in-house lawyers, was previously only open to employed solicitors, but it is now hoping to significantly grow its numbers to include legal executives, employed barristers and paralegals.
