Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (BLG) has overcome tough market conditions in the telecoms sector by advising new client, Hutchison 3G, now trading as ’3′, on a complex programme of IT outsourcing deals.
BLG won the client through a recommendation from Tracey Turner, an assistant who worked in the commercial technology group and left the firm to become one of the first in-house lawyers at the then Hutchison 3G (an offshoot of Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa).
