American Express Services Europe (Amex) is set to launch a review of its legal advisers after appointing UK-qualified Mark Chambers as its new general counsel from GE Insurance Holdings (GE).
Chambers, a former lawyer at top UK firm Slaughter and May, joined Amex at the end of January to lead its 18-lawyer team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was previously group head of legal at GE.
