Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft has matched the pace of New York restructuring rival Weil Gotshal & Manges by posting an 18% leap in revenue and a 13% hike in profits per partner (PPP) for 2002.

The results, among the strongest yet seen this year from the US legal market, saw the firm’s turnover hit $315m (£196.4m), up from the 2001 total of $266m (£165.8m) and PPP up from $1.105m (£689,100) in 2001 to $1.25m (£779,500).
