Manches has appointed the head of its family law department Jane Simpson to the new position of chairman – taking over from her ex-husband, Alasdair Simpson, as head of the firm.
Simpson, also the daughter of the firm’s founder Sydney Manches, took the position on 24 February and will now head the firm supported by non-lawyer chief executive Alun Lamerton, who retains his role.
