Some technical specialists look for positions solely in law firms and legal software houses due to their experience in developing and supporting law-related applications, such as case management systems and, most recently, digital dictation. They are increasingly sought after because law firms are more aware that recruiting an individual with no technical experience within a law firm can prove to be a costly exercise.
