Barbara StephensonFemale lawyers at leading UK law firms continue to be less likely to make partner than their male counterparts, with the average percentage of women partners currently standing at just 18%, according to new data by market research company Winmark.

The findings, commissioned by Inspirational Development Coaching, come despite the number of women in England and Wales with practising certificates increasing by 128.5% since 1991. Women now make up 58.8% of new trainees.
