TG rejigs constitution to boost merger drive

TG headline Theodore Goddard (TG) last week overhauled its partnership agreement to give the embattled City firm a better chance of pushing through its merger bid with national suitor Addleshaw Booth & Co.

Speaking on the day both firms formally confirmed that they had entered into full merger talks, TG senior partner Paddy Grafton Green told Legal Week that the shake-up of the City firm’s partnership would allow the firm to secure a deal with 80% backing.
