The City base of US firm Morrison &
Foerster (MoFo) has led teams from 10 international offices to advise Hitachi on the largest acquisition of a US business by a Japanese company since the early 1990s.

Kristian Wiggert, MoFo’s London managing partner, led the deal advising Hitachi on its £1.25bn acquisition of IBM’s hard disk-drive (HDD) business – the first time the firm’s London office has been instructed by Hitachi.
