Integration with the IT systems of our external law firms is an important issue for the Barclays legal function. We are keen to enable the transfer of billing data into our legal and corporate management and financial systems.
Recently, a solution has emerged to negate the need for law firms to expend valuable resources coding their data to integrate with each of their corporate clients. Third-party vendors such as DataCert and Serengeti Law now provide ‘data translation’ services that allow, for example, a law firm billing generated from Elite to flow into a legal function’s work management system such as Corprasoft Legal Desk (CLD).
