The French Ministry of Justice is preparing to unveil a major overhaul of the legal profession that could see France’s in-house lawyers granted equal rights to outside counsel.
This month French legal insiders told Legal Director‘s sister title Legal Week that in April the Ministry of Justice is expected to announce a raft of measures ranging from implementing the European Commission’s right of establishment directive to the launch of legislation to give French in-house lawyers’ more rights.
