London giant Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has been put on a human rights ‘dirty list’ of firms aiding business in the oppressive Southeast Asian regime of Burma.

UK-based human rights group The Burma Campaign published a list of 68 companies, financial institutions and professional advisers that have recently conducted business in the pariah state.
Freshfields has strong links with companies doing business in Burma primarily through its work with Malaysian oil company Petronas, which operates the controversial Yetagun oil field.
