Boston VC leader axes 34 jobs in profits drive

Boston venture capital leader Testa Hurwitz & Thibeault has laid off 34 junior lawyers in a bid to raise profits.

The top 100 US firm announced on 8 January that it was to cut its associate headcount by around 9%, leaving the Boston-based firm with 350 fee earners.
