Chicago giant Kirkland & Ellis has won a court battle to throw out a multi-billion dollar claim against it over the collapse of Enron.
The move follows the Court for the Southern District of Texas’ decision to grant the top 20 US firm a motion of dismissal from the lawsuit, which was brought last year against an array of professional advisers by disgruntled Enron shareholders.
